2024 marks our 40th year in business, and in the next few posts I’d like to reflect on some of the jobs that have made the past four decades truly special to me.
Albino Bandits:
The likelihood of encountering one of these is 1 in 750,000, equivalent to the odds of being struck by lightning. Now, envision the probability of discovering three albino raccoons in a single litter – I would estimate it to be 1 in a gazillion.
Since the inception of our business, we have been fortunate enough to come across a total of five albino raccoon babies over the past four decades. Without the typical mask and striped tail, their appearance is strikingly different from a typical raccoon.
